Shawna Renee Luckman (Swingle) passed away early in life on February 13th 2024 in Myrtle Point, OR. She was born the start of a large family in the coastal town of Fort Bragg, California on April 2, 1974.
Shawna was most recently known through her engagements with the community as a co-owner of Coast Granite Creations and Crunch Bomb Candy. Throughout her life, she found job in various roles such as daycare provider, bus driver and coffee shop owner.
Shawna was well known for her willingness to help and nurture with a welcoming heart and home, as well as her creative and vibrant personality. In her free time, Shawna found peace and pleasure in hobbies such as rock & agate hunting with her dogs, 4-wheeling, and abalone diving. She cherished these activities and found solace in nature camping throughout the coastline she called home, including the old family favorite beachside at Usal Campground.
Shawna is survived by her husband, Jason Luckman, her daughters Kassidey Walters and Alison Melo, as well as her sisters Lori Swingle, Alisha Herman, Michele Buzzard and brother Steven Swingle. She was recently preceded in death by her father, Steve Swingle.
A service to celebrate and honor Shawna’s life will fittingly be held among her faith community at Grace International Church, located at 1121 Bothwick St, Myrtle Point, OR on February 24th at 11am.
Shawna’s lively spirit and diverse interests touched and lifted the lives of many. She will be deeply missed and held in the hearts of all who were privileged to know her.
